Payments

What payment methods are available?

We offer various payment methods to choose the one that best suits your needs.

  • Shopify Payments. A payment gateway for credit and/or debit cards with international seller accreditation by Visa Europe and MasterCard Europe. It requires payment confirmation with 3DSecure technology. This is a measure applied on our web platform to ensure the payment is 100% secure against fraudulent purchases. The verification depends on the bank; in some cases, it's done via SMS, in others through a mobile app. Customers must consult with their bank if this feature is not activated to process their order correctly.
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay are secure and convenient mobile payment services using wireless technology to carry out transactions. They protect your personal and financial data by generating encrypted tokens instead of storing information on the device or servers. They utilize biometric authentication, like facial recognition or fingerprint, to verify your identity. These security measures ensure that only you can authorize payments, minimizing the risk of data theft.
  • Payment with Visa and Mastercard is a safe and widely used method for carrying out transactions globally. When providing your card details to the merchant, they are securely transmitted through encrypted channels. This data is sent to the card issuer who performs checks and authorizations to ensure payment validity and fund availability. Transactions are safeguarded with data encryption, fraud detection, and additional authentication measures.

 

Can modifications be made to the devices, such as expanding the RAM?

No. The devices are sealed from the manufacturer, and we cannot make modifications to their configurations. The manufacturer certifies the device's perfect operation in the condition it is delivered to the customer. Any changes could result in the loss of the warranty.

 

Refurbished Products

What do we mean by Refurbished product?

Refurbished products come from multiple sources, but all have several things in common:

  • They have been checked by the manufacturer (major brands like HP, Toshiba, Philips…) with the highest quality standards, and their perfect operation has been certified.
  • They are products with minimal use or, in many cases, non-existent. They come from commercial returns within the first 14 days of purchase.
  • We consider buying refurbished products beneficial for both the customer, who gets almost new products at a much lower price, and the environment, offering a second chance to products that otherwise would be destroyed.
  • We provide a minimum of 12 months warranty on all our refurbished products, often extending to 24 months in many cases.

Are all your products Refurbished?

No. In the product details, you can clearly see whether it is a New or Refurbished product. Remember that new products come with a 3-year warranty. On the other hand, not all Refurbished products might have a 2-year warranty, some might have only 1 year, but never less.

 

What warranty do I have with a Refurbished product?

You can find Refurbished products with either 2 or 1 year of warranty. If you have any doubts about a product's warranty, contact us through any of our support channels, and we'll provide the necessary information.

 

How do I manage the warranty in case of a malfunction?

14 calendar days from product receipt.

In most cases, you have a direct warranty with the manufacturer. If in doubt, please contact us, and we will guide you on the next steps.

 

Aesthetic Defects

What does "aesthetic defects" mean?

Aesthetic defects or cosmetic flaws never affect the product's functionality. They usually involve a minor scratch or usage mark on the product; the visual impact is never significant. Almost all our customers are satisfied with how minor these defects are; in fact, we've had customers call us unable to detect the said defect. In any case, remember you have 14 days to inspect and test any product to ensure your complete satisfaction with it.

 

Can I know what the aesthetic defects are?

Due to the variety of sealed product batches we receive from manufacturers, we can't always specify a product's exact flaw. However, you can always contact us, and we will do our best to describe the product's condition. In specific cases where there are few units or the product is of high value, we might make exceptions.

 

How long do I have to test an item?

14 calendar days from product receipt.

If you decide to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must return the product in the same condition you received it within 3 days after announcing such intention. If the purchase is declined for reasons beyond our control (I don't like the color, it's not what I expected, the TV doesn't fit in the living room...), the shipping costs to our central will be borne by the customer.

 

International Products

What does it mean when a product is "International"?

Our purchasing team secures incredible prices because they search globally. On some occasions, laptops come from another country, but don't worry because at Outlet PC, we make it easy for you.

If the operating system (Windows) is not in Spanish (most likely scenario), we switch it to the Spanish operating system for free. You will receive it with the change already made.

If the keyboard has any different key (Ñ, accents, €…), we offer special adhesive stickers for keyboards that fit perfectly and allow you to visually adjust the keys to a Spanish layout.

Keep in mind that the operating system determines how a keyboard works. Since you will receive the device with a Spanish OS, you'll only need to replace the keys differing from a Spanish keyboard with the stickers.

 

What are the stickers?

It's a sticker pack that we sell for just €5, allowing you to adapt the letters different from a conventional Spanish keyboard. We offer white and black stickers to match your keyboard color perfectly. If you have any questions, remember you can contact us anytime, and we'll be happy to assist.
